is known by two names:
(1) the Old Testament Trinity
(2) The Hospitality of Abraham.
The icon depicts the three angels that visited Abraham and Sarah and promised that when they returned Sarah would have a son, Issac. This is the "Rublov" version which shows the three angels alone. Earlier and most Greek/Byzantine versions of the icon also depict Abraham and Sarah and their servants preparing foods for their guests, therefore, the name "The Hospitality of Abraham". One of our most requested icons.
