Orthodox Christians may have legitimate reasons to enter Catholic, Protestant, or other Christian churches, including weddings, funerals, family events, concerts, historical visits, and respectful encounters.
Is visiting the same as full communion? No. Respectful presence does not erase real differences in doctrine and sacramental communion.
May an Orthodox Christian receive Communion there? Orthodox Eucharistic discipline ordinarily does not permit receiving Communion outside the Orthodox Church. Specific pastoral questions belong with one's priest.
For a basic comparison, see Orthodox and Catholic Christianity.
