Orthodox Christians normally receive Holy Communion within the Orthodox Church. Eucharistic communion expresses full unity in faith and sacramental life, not simply hospitality between individuals.
Can an Orthodox Christian attend another Christian service? Visiting a Catholic or Protestant church is a different question from receiving Communion there. Circumstances vary, but attendance itself does not automatically mean Eucharistic participation.
What if there is an unusual pastoral situation? Questions involving a specific circumstance should be discussed with one's Orthodox priest rather than decided from a general internet rule.
