The Verso contains the Virgin Emanuel.
The Virgin has her has outstretched in an Eastern manner of prayer. In her womb a youthful Christ is depicted with His hands outstretched.
Around the Virgin are Russian Monastic and Hierarchal Saints such as Sts Sergius, Tikhon, Seraphim,
John of Kronstadt and Peter the Metropolitan.
