Christ's command to love and pray for enemies is one of the most difficult teachings in Christian life.
Does praying for an enemy mean approving wrongdoing? No. A Christian can oppose injustice, protect others, seek lawful accountability, and still refuse to make hatred the final condition of the heart.
Must forgiveness erase consequences? Forgiveness and reconciliation are related but not identical. Trust may require repentance, change, and time.
